I’m Pranoy Sinha, based in Kolkata, India. I’ve spent 18+ years building software and infrastructure — starting in a manufacturing plant, then running my own web development practice for international clients, and for the last several years designing cloud, IIoT and data platforms.

That path matters for the work I do now. I understand what happens on the plant floor, how web applications are actually built, and what it takes to keep a production database alive at 3 a.m. Most projects I join fail at the boundaries between those worlds, and that’s where I’m most useful.

I work remotely with teams in the UK, Europe and elsewhere, overlapping their working day from IST. I’m happiest with clear problems, written decisions and systems that the client’s own team can run after I leave.
